The tour starts at Largo da Portagem (Toll Square). We cross the Mondego River through Santa Clara bridge and arrive at the bank linked to the stories of the women of Coimbra. Next to the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha lived Holy Queen Isabel and Inês de Castro. Passing by Portugal dos Pequenitos and Saint Francis Convent, and going up the Calçada Santa Isabel, we will arrive at the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Coimbra. After returning to the right bank of the Mondego through Pedro and Inês pedestrian bridge, the visit ends at the Green Park of Mondego.
