In the late afternoon of August 14, 1385 it took place the battle of Aljubarrota, which finished with the victory of the Portuguese troops commanded by the king João I, master of Avis, and D. Nuno Álvares Pereira. Know the antecedents of the battle, the field where happened and the Monastery of Batalha.
